Stay away from the Viper Stryke 140/70 rear

The Viper Stryke 140/70-16 rear tire is the crappiest POS I have ever downgraded from stock tires too. The freaking FAQ needs to be changed like yesterday and I?m leaving the POS tires on my bike so that Jeb can take our 250 for a ride to see for himself. As soon as he can witness the handling issues they invoke I?m pulling them off to put the stock tires back on until we can buy a tire that is made for this 120mm rim.

The 140mm rear tire gets pinched down to 126mm which bows the tread up into an egg shape (which maintains the stock ride height and does NOT lower the bike) that causes major straight line instability and you can?t get the bike back up out of a turn without major counter steering.

I?d like to know who suggested this POS for the FAQ on a stock ex250 rim and make them buy the Viper Stryke rear off me and I?d make them come out to my garage to put my stock duncrap tires back on. Not to mention all the bear they?d have to buy me for the troubles I went through ordering and installing the POS.

Only an indiot would recommend a tire that handles worse than the stock dunlops.

Yes, I?m a little pissed off right now and after I calm back down I may be able to forgive whoever recommended the tire as long as this board either takes the tire off the FAQ list or updates the facts on how this tire truly affects the handling of this bike.
