Viper Stryke 140/70-16 Rear...Should NOT be recommended.

The Viper Stryke 140/70-16 rear tire is the crappiest POS I have ever downgraded from stock tires too. The FAQ needs to be updated ASAP.

The 140mm rear tire gets pinched down to 126mm (which is 4mm skinnier than the 130mm stock tires) on the stock 250 rims which bows the tread up into an egg shape (which does NOT lower the stock ride height) and this causes straight line instability which means the bike wants to constantly lean from side to side. When you lean the bike over in a turn, it's eager to lie down and you have to fight it (use major counter steering) to stand it back up.

I'm pissed that some idiot recommended this tire on the FAQ and wasted both my time and money in exchange for crappy handling. My wife is trying to learn how to ride on this bike and I'm going to have to put the stock tires back on for her safety.

Yes, after much coaxing the tire does squeeze onto the stock rim but its way over pinched and the egg shape it makes destabilizes the bike which greatly takes away from how these bikes should handle even on stock tires.
