the rider who recommended the 140/70-16 is a very experienced rider, and a very assertive one, too. He liked them, and no one else has said anything for or against in a year and a half until you. In hindsight, perhaps we shouldn't have been so forthcoming with information, but there are two other articles that more or less lay out the fact that thinner is better. I thought that would give people a chance to make up their minds. I guess that brings us to 2 1/2 documented mistakes in 3 years. Sorry if it caused you some problems.
