Sound like a good deal to you?

So, I'm looking for my first bike and after research, here I am, so I guess we can assume what that will most likely be.

To the point: I've found a 2005 Ninja with 248 miles on it about 5 miles away for 2750. I was considering making an offer of 2500 but was wondering what this forums users have to say about it.
