Just installed the full Area P exhaust today. Took it for a 15 mile ride and I noticed that it immediately jumps to mid-range rpms. The low rpm lag was simply eliminated! I have a jet-kit ready to go but will ride it a bit more to see where adjustments will need to be made. It seems to slightly pop during low range rpms when pulling quickly off the throttle. Tomorrow I should be able to test out all the ranges and different gears.
The noise level is significantly greater than stock, much more than I was expecting. The audio file on the Area P site is very accurate. I'm wondering if it will change after a few hundred miles like the stock exhaust did.
The weight savings was huge. They say 7+ pounds savings but you can really feel it when holding the oem and the area p exhaust side-by-side.
