I've insured my cars through Progressive for almost 10 yrs, and they've consistently been much lower premiums than any quote I've received from other companies (e.g. Geico, State Farm, Travelers).
But - when I asked for a motorcycle quote, they quoted me something totally ridiculous. So high I don't even remember how much it was. Something like $900 year? It was just insane - and I had a clean driving record, MSF course, had been a customer for years, etc.
Someone here mentioned Bikeline (Markel American Insurance), so I got a quote from their website. For the first year, it was ~ $200. Second year ~ $160. This year? $86.
Tough to beat!
