Less Explosive or Lower Compression?

Hey Brian,

Maybe you can explain how that works. I was thinking the lower octane was required due to less dense air meaning a lower compression factor with regard to pre-ignition?

I remember stopping at places way up there with 4 fuel grades. 85 87 89 91 Starts getting confusing...
