I'm going with AJinNoHills on this one. I used the motoman method (http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm), and everything seems fine. The guys at the dealership (Bullhead city) were in favor of the "ride it like you stole it" method as long as you let it warm up completely and you vary the rpms. My friend has a truck, and the MFG break in is almost identical to motoman. The Ninja250 break in is especially bizarre as you let out the clutch around 2K to 3K rpm, and then you have to stop at 4K? 4K would be a high RPM on a 1300cc cruiser, but for a bike that redlines at 13K it makes no sense.
