There are a whole host of things...

Tire pressure off, poor riding position (forcing the bike to lean more than necessary by not sing body english... IE you weren't hanging off), you hit a spot of something slick on the track (dropped oil, fuel, some gravel, etc...), a goofy tire that had a sudden issue, touched a hard-part for a second (side stand bracket, footpeg, etc.. related to not getting off the bike) that levered the tire of the ground for a split second, poorly adjusted suspension, etc....

As for advice, go take a more dedicated school. CLASS by Code won't have you riding anywhere NEAR that hard in the 2nd session. You'll learn the fundamentals that are essential to going fast instead of just trying to go fast. There's a world of difference between learning all the little pieces behind riding fast , then stitching them together and just going out to a track and riding as fast as you can. Normally it's the difference between guys taking podium spots at local races and the guys who Always crash out.

Glad to see you're not dissuaded from giving it another shot, just go about it in a different way next time.

Brian
