Re: Full exhaust

Im brand new here but I thought I would add My 2cents. I just installed asnd area P system on the wifes bike. the install was smooth, and other than positioning the NMuffler to avoid any contact with the Brake line retainers was aa easy as it gets. not including the Right cowling removal 45 Minutes. Pipe sounds great. I have a stage 2 Dyno jet kit, and did not yet install. On a test ride Bike pulled strong, was a noticable increase in power (seat of the Pants DYNO). Im going to have her run it as is for a short while and see how it does.
The reason that I did not install thye jet kit...Well as there seems to be no High flow Filters to replace the stock..I see no need. As soon as K&N or someone else makes one then I will drop the Kit in. I may pop the snorkel off the Air box until then. I will tell you the bike when stock sounded like a sewing machine..
The Area P has the 2" baffle with the 12" length. It is not offensively loud...but when the Lil'Ninja starts spinning up around 5500-9000 Rpm its sounds Like a bike 3 times its size. I like it!
I did a bit or research before choosing the Area-P
I disregarded the whole Slip on rutine.. it would have been as much works as this full system, with questionable performance returns. Yosh could not say what kind of weight savings there may be.
Area p makes More HP, and torque gains. and the 12" carbon system saves 7 Lbs... Built quality A++, sound A++, Ease Of install A++ Price I piabd $495 + $15.00 S&H...to Az. this is much less than the Yosh, and only slightly more than most slip ons. In had the Pipe in hand in 2 days from time of order....

For you Racers or Hard core riders DYNOMAN.COM is setting up Sets of CR carbs for these bikes.
