I bought mine because it was a cheap bike to run and maintain and a great bike to do some wrench work on.

On the highway I get low to mid fifty mpg on my 1995 ninja 250 with 10k miles. It was not maintained well by the previous owner. I hope to fix it up. A nice(to me) ratbike costing $750 has been a lot of fun so far to own and work on.
