Insurance if I finance

ive been thinking about buying a new 09 250R but i wont be able to put all of the money for it together any time soon, which brings me
to my question. If i were to finance even a small portion of my motorcycle would I need to get insurance for it? and if so how much
coverage?

I live in south florida where insurance on motorcycles is not required by law.
