Yes it is true...

I am a new rider and have ridden about 300 mile so far...mostly on the interstate at 65-80 mph. I do appreciate the advice of this forum. I listened to the news a bit ago and they stated it was 25 - 30 mph winds with 50 mph gusts. So it was worse that I previously stated. It must be those 50mph gusts that got me. That being said, I feel anything on the highway in those conditions is gonna want to go sideways a bit. Thats just physics. Some more than others. I have to ask my Harley buddy tomorrow and see how he felt.

That being said, your own FAQ says that the 500 does feel better in the wind. It states "With greater weight, it has more stability in high speed and windy situations". Are you saying that somebody just made that up? I'm sure other veterans collective wisdom posted that statement there. Thats why I made my original post in an effort to expand on that notion. I like my 250 and I'm not looking for an excuse to trade up. I'm looking for an excuse to keep it.

Are there other opinions on this matter out there?
