Hahaha...Nice! I wasn't trying to chastise anyone with my "anyone?" post and if it seemed that way I appologize.

As for the "escalation" comment, that was not my intent but I will defend myself if need be.

This is a common problem around here, and probably all the other forums. It seemed you got rather defensive rather quickly, in ways which can come across as insulting or agressive, intentional or not. Without suggesting this is necessarily you, we get a lot of people coming here who seem to think the forum is just something that got thrown up on the net with little effort or money and anyone can say anything because nobody "owns" it, but this forum has in fact been painstakingly crafted and administered by guys who could make a pretty good side income with their skills and efforts elsewhere but choose to do it here, for which the rest of us are quite grateful, and quick to defend. Intentions are often difficult to read on forums like this, and yet somehow it's easy to read into posts intentions that weren't there as well, and I think that's how this all started. It's also why those of us who are not admins and other gurus err on the side of humility towards those who are. There's an incredible amount of knowledge here, even if we aren't necessarily able to diagnose and suggest a solution to your problem given the information we have. Stick with it and someone here should be able to help you, especially if more details become available.

If that's not sufficiently vague:

Be sure to read the edited post Bokonon made earlier. It might clear up your approach to your bike's problems, and other possible misunderstandings. If you do in fact clear up the problem with the throttle response, I hope you post some details so your conclusions can become part of the collective wisdom here.

(LONG) PS: If all this settles down and we can concentrate on your motorcycle's problems, I think we can eventually walk away from any hard feelings. If it's just a jetting issue, see Bokonon's comment, and if you really want to bring in some big guns consider having it dynoed to plot air/fuel mixture, but be prepared for a $75-ish bill. Good luck.
