Still a very good crowd of serious LD'ers, including our own rats4ever (Matt) and his better half. Not bad food either. I'm glad I showed up. Maybe a few electric clothing items and a year later I'll even "rally." |
I forgot to mention that the fellow who got slammed by the car, or his friend riding with him, sent word that his gear saved him. While this was a chilly day, I don't recall seeing anyone in the group not geared from head to toe, even while leaving when the temp was closer to 60F. It seems serious riders are ATG. They seemed to me as "free" as the ones with "ride free" patched on their stuff, and probably less likely to show up in certain statistics.
