I'd like to come, but I'm a total newbie. Is that OK?

I'm not sure what the etiquette is on the awards meet. I wasn't around last year, so I'm wondering if it's ok if I attend.

Also, I'm a little worried that I'll be the only newbie. So, either some unlucky person is going to get stuck riding with me and my slow pace, or I'm going to be riding alone. I took the MSF course about 2 months ago, and I've been riding regularly for about 6 weeks. But, let's not kid ourselves -- I'm still a danger to myself and others.

No hard feelings if you think it would be better for me to wait until next year.
