newbies are totally welcome and encouraged to attend

slow pace is fine, we tend to let the faster ones go up front... not that we'll be riding ridiculously fast or anything
and then we'll stop and let people catch up

we haven't lost anyone on a ride that i've ever been on

and we'll have an emergency contact list put together this time

please do come - you will have such a great time
