A few things I forgot to mention...

That headlight bucket has a built-in amber light that you can use as a DRL, but it's hard to see over the low/high beams.

And to answer the other question, the upper fairing stay holes that normally hold the stock headlight are 9 inches apart. I ended up using 3/4" shock bushings found in the Help! section of my local Advance Auto
