The point is to have a 340 lb bike, a 300 mile range and a bit more power        

I swear I posted this in the 250 classic forum, since it is about modifiying the 250 classic.

With the longer stroke, the valve cover might be near impossible to get out from under the frame when valve lash is due. I remember it being quite tight as is.

Why not use the stock N250 exhaust? Headpipe anyway.

I expect the 300 to be crashed at about the same rate as the 250. Many a new biker, who has not read 'Twist of the Wrist' will learn about bike dynamics the hardway. Unfortunate. And the race rules should keep the hordes of 250 club racers away from the salvage.
