It appears each insurance company is differnt... Nationwide (been with them for mutiple years now, my house is under them also) refused to insure any "Ninja" among other sports bikes. I had them run the VIN anyway on the 250 I got and sure enough it came up on the black list.
Geico insured it for me... $277 a year, 100k/300k coverage. I am going to look around for some better rates... 26 years old here....
