The only real deviation for high altitude carb tuning...        

is the pilot jet (35 vs. 38). Main jets MAY be one size down from what the same bike would need at sea level, and the needle shimming is the same.

Where in the throttle were you running and finding the issue? Middle, closer to WFO? Whatever that range was, simple go the next step leaner... though, keep in mind that if you do go leaner on the main jet that you run a significantly higher chance of burning the piston/valves at lower elevations and sustained high RPM.

I think Duke had planned on rejetting for the high elevations sections and then opted not to (or the hurt ribs made it impractical) mid-rally. You may want to talk with him about it as well...
