| Looking at a used 250! Some questions... |
Hey guys, this is my first time posting, although i've been reading on and off for a while. Anyways, i'm looking at a used 250 that someone is selling in the dorms at my college, and i had a few questions. It's a 1998 with about 38,000 miles, and she is asking $1850.
-I was thinking 38,000 is a bit too high for a bike of that price, and i would probably need to do some work on the engine and parts or something, what kinda problems could i expect?
-The owner right now is a girl, so the rims are purple and the windshield is purple and stuff. It has mufflers that say COBRA i think. Is it hard to paint the rims myself? Is it easy to get a hold of a new windsheidl? Are those COBRAs the F1s that i heard are REALLY LOUD?
So yeah, i was thinking $1850 is too much, and i was wondering what kinda stuff i should look out for on this bike.
In about a week we are gonna meet up and im gonna check the bike in more detail and listen to it and see how it runs and ask about how its been driven and previous owners and all that stuff. Please help!
