250 Speed

I keep reading on many of these posts many people saying that there is no way the 250 can not hit 130mph. Well, either I bought a really super bike or something is in my gas, but I HAVE hit 130mph on my 03' EX250. Not saying this is suggested or safe and I did it in 60seconds, but it can be done. I was riding with my buddy, who has a CBR 600 and we were driving down a long flat highway along the beach. He gunned his and left me in the dust. I decided to see what my 250 could do, so I tucked and went. Now of course it took me awhile but it slowly did hit 130mph and that's all she could do. I am 6' 1" 185lbs, only tried it this one time and probably will never try it again, but this bike is no moped!
