I'm 23 w/ a clean record and paying about $650/yr to Geico for my '02 250R in Los Angeles (rates will vary wildly in different areas). Everyone else was about twice as much or more (including my auto insurer). This includes collision and uninsured motorist.
What I found is that some insurers classify the Ninja as a sportbike, which pushes the premium up even more.
btw, hello to the board, I've been lurking for a while. I keep re-reading the faq while I contemplate different mods to my bike.
