8" Headlight?

So I see a lot of posting about using 7" headlights with universal fork brackets, but i was wondering if anyone know if you could get something like this

and put it in the stock brackets with the gauge cluster still no there?

I'm a n00b when it comes to the electrical on bikes so please point out anything you think wont work.
