It's cold outside, some advise

All of you need to turn your hose bibs off.(your outside spickets)

There should be a valve near your main water shutoff to turn off your hose bibs. You may have two, one for front and one for back. Sometime the rear one may come off your incoming water heater line.
If it was done right, you can turn the hose bib off without affecting your water heater.

After you turn your hose bibs off, go outside and open them up and let the water out and then turn them back off. This takes the pressure off your pipes and get's rid of the water in the line to freeze.

Don't leave your water dripping if you are not going to be home. The drain could freeze up and cause a small flood.

Those of you that have and wall mounted sinks open the cabinets below so that heat gets in there.

Hope this saves some of you some grief.
