|Ear plugs for riding |
Just got diagnosed with tinnitus and hyperacusis(noise sensitivity).
I'm not sure what to do next but my doctor told me that it's time to protect my ears/hearing or else I'll end up deaf.
Tried cheap foam plugs but they're very uncomfortable. Also tried Eargasm and NoNoise but they hurt my ears.
Told my friend about this and he told me I may have narrow ear canals. He suggested I should look for custom molded earplugs.
At the moment, I found one around my area called Big Ear Inc. I also watched a video from them explaining why generic earplugs doesn't work and I totally agree with most of what the presenter said.
I'm still not sure of what to buy but maybe there are generic plugs that could work so I'm still open for people's recommendations. I also noticed that custom earplugs are quite expensive so I want to know first if they worked for you or not.
Please help me with this.
Thanks in advance!
